Hilton's Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 5,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are key to Hilton's ability to drive profitable growth.

What will I be doing?

The Hilton corporate summer internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real-world experience at one of our key corporate locations. The program is intended to develop the business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on important projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in virtual networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns.

Under the Senior Manager of Revenue Forecasting supervision, you will be committed to supporting the continued development of Hilton's analytics capabilities. Your responsibilities will include various forms of analysis, supporting the measuring and monitoring of ongoing pricing and product initiatives. You will also contribute to team projects and initiatives – including the forecast and budget.

More specifically, you will:

  • Measure and monitor the performance and effectiveness of current initiatives
  • Build reports and presentations of insights and recommendations for business stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other analytics and business teams to identify and analyze performance trends
  • Proactively uncover and conduct ad-hoc analysis based on current events and performance trends
  • Add to the forecast and budget review process

  • Self-starter with a work demeanor that exhibits flexibility, drive, good judgment, and dependability
  • Critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytics skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to creatively identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions, or methods to hard problems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal, written) while employing diplomacy with high-level executives and customers within the organization on a global scale

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related degree
  • Fluently speak, read, and write in English
  • Rising junior or senior
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Can work in the US without employment sponsorship

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as navigating the internet
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Have a working understanding of SQL
  • Experience with analytical or business intelligence tools
