The award-winning Spa Biltmore is looking for an Assistant Director of Spa & Wellness to help lead the team at the historic, Arizona Biltmore!
Located in the heart of uptown Phoenix since 1929, this gorgeous Waldorf Astoria is fresh off a multi-million dollar renovation, that includes a brand new 15,000 square feet state of the art, spa and fitness center. This massive 39-acre property boasts 738 rooms, over 200,000 square feet of meeting space and 6 food and beverage outlets, 8 swimming pools, and two 18 hole championship golf courses.
In this exciting role, you will oversee a team of up to 40+ and report directly into the Director of Spa & Wellness. The ideal candidate will be a talented, engaging leader with a passion for providing exceptional service. At least 3-5 years of Spa management required, membership experience preferred, and Forbes service training is a huge plus!

What will I be doing?
Assists the director to ensure the efficient day to day operation of the facility in accordance with local, state and federal health and cleanliness standards. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following:
- Participates in sales, marketing, merchandising, pricing, programming, leading fitness classes, conducting inventory and recording and tracking financial statistics.
- Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.An Assistant Director of Spa is responsible for overseeing the massage and facial departments.
- Supervise the inventory and distribution of professional products.
- Constantly pursue the company's best interest in creating product savings.
- Effectively manage the day-to-day operations/spa scheduling.
- Assists in complying with budgetary guidelines.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Develop and implement therapist's short and long-range goals and objectives.
- Attend all scheduled spa and hotel staff meetings.
- Conduct departmental meetings once a month. Minutes to be published from each meeting within one week after the meeting indicating action items.
- Conduct a daily walk through of the club operation to ensure cleanliness, conservation, and maintenance of the facility and maintenance of equipment using a walk about checklist.
