Internal Auditor
The Internal Auditor is a member of the Controller's staff and his/her work is generally supervised by the Assistant Controller. The basic responsibility of the Internal Auditor is the booking phase of the Accounting Department. At the end of the month, he/she will help on the monthly closing of the books and preparation of accounting reports.
What will I be doing?
During the month, the Internal Auditor will assist in counting of the cashier's house funds and any other accounting work delegated to him/her. Will help on the monthly closing of the books and preparation of accounting reports. When the Controller is away from the hotel and the Assistant Controller performs the day to day administrative work of the Controller, the Internal Auditor will be required to assume additional accounting responsibilities as may be defined by the Controller or the Hotel. The Internal Auditor also has to be able to work in each and every area of the office in the event an employee is away from the hotel for a short period of time.
An Internal Auditor serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with Accounting or Finance major
- Experience in Accounting- Ability to effectively communicate
- Computer Literacy: Knowledge on Office Suite Applications such: (MS Office, Lotus Smart Suite) and other computer programs
