Job Description
For our Front Desk Department we are currently looking for a Part-Time (0-hrs) Porter/Concierge. Within this position, your main tasks will be:
- Ensure the satisfaction of our guests
- Greeting every guest of the Hilton Amsterdam immediately
- Offer assistance with luggage
- Send and receive packages
- Offer assistance to the Front Desk
- Answering questions from Guests
- Acting upon Guest requests
- Handling Guest complaints according to our Make it Right policy
- Knowledge of the services and facilities of the hotel
- Knowledge of Amsterdam
- Upselling
Required skills and competence
- Service oriented
- Hospitable attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Representative appearance
- Pro-active attitude
- A Hotel or Tourism education is a plus
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Available for morning and evening shifts
