A Purchasing Supervisor will support the negotiation of contracts, purchasing of required goods, and record-keeping as it related to transactions and vendor performance, receive delivered goods.

Ensuring 100% hotel compliance with all standards and company supply management policies.


Duties & Key Responsibilities 

  • As Purchasing Supervisor, you will work with suppliers to negotiate contracts, purchase required goods, and keep accurate records of transactions, trends and performance with vendors;
  • Manage the database of active local contracts with suppliers;
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power;
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks;
  • Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased;
  • Help maintain records of purchases and transactions and prepare relevant reports;
  • Adhere to quality procedures and standards and oversee purchasing administration such that all Hilton policies and standards are upheld;
  • Maintain a record of commitments for all budgets and ensure that the relevant team members are constantly informed of updates;
  • Be responsible for the proper receiving and storing of these goods;
  • Monitor all areas of purchasing including contracts, leases and nominations;
  • Prepare the month end accounts reports in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Hotel Management;
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand;
What are we looking for?

·         2 years’ work experience as a purchasing in the hospitality industry;

·         Proficiency in Georgian, English;

·         Proficiency in MS Office;

·         Proficiency in Materials Control software;

·         Negotiating skills;

·         Planning and organizational skills;

·         Attention to detail;

·         Communication skills;

·         Networking skills;
