Senior Analyst, Corporate OTC Contracts
Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.
What will I be doing?
As the Senior Analyst for Order To Cash (OTC) Corporate, you will perform analysis, reporting, and journal entry preparation for various functions and corporate departments. In addition, you will build positive partnerships with the Managers of Corporate OTC and with team members in Record to Report (RTR). The team will lean on your attention to detail and business knowledge to clarify legal agreements and apply current accounting policies when preparing entries and reports. You will use these skills daily to solve problems and meet deadlines for management fees and revenue.
More specifically, you will:
- Update Franchise agreement tracker, Management agreement tracker, TSA, and Preopening tracker.
- Update and reconcile the Fee Tracker for franchise and program fee billings.
- Utilize Global Management and Franchise Agreement Repository (GMFAR) reports to update trackers and identify non-standard terms in Franchise Agreements.
- Complete Franchise Agreement checklists and Management Agreement checklists as required based on SOX internal controls.
- Complete month-end accounting close including preparing journal entries, compiling reports, and crafting queries or nVision reports for analyzing data.
- Reconcile PiM reports, GMFAR reports, Gap reports to ensure completeness of legal agreement population.
- Partner with auditors (internal and external) and internal departments to resolve issues identified while analyzing data and to respond to information requests.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers (outsourcing provider and auditors) to ensure all vital information is compiled, reviewed, and approved (if needed) for credit memos, refunds, client billings, adding new customers to the master file, revenue audit, and applying and reconciling cash.
- Support customers and provide input with online payment portal setup and problem-solving as well as serving as liaison with banks and IT to ensure the payment portal is accurate and meeting customer needs.
- Work with Brand Management and Legal for collections default notices and pursuit of damages and fees as needed.
- Document all evidence required to align with SOX controls that apply to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Collaborate with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, coordinate and accomplish project/department goals.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of professional accounting experience
- Two (2) years of work experience at the Analyst level applying the principles and practical application of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree and/or MA/MS Master’s Degree
- Experience with Microsoft Access
- Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion Accounting System
