Senior Lead Cyber Security Architect
***This role will be Remotely based, except for within the state of Colorado***

What will I be doing?
As the Senior Lead Cyber Security Architect, you will be a technical leader that will be the main interface between Hilton's cybersecurity and network engineering teams. You will develop and maintain an understanding of Hilton’s global network architecture and: a) evaluate the security of significant changes and new initiatives, b) identify network security control improvements in the existing architecture, and c) assist with the prioritization of, and help coordinate, corrective actions to improve network security controls.
More specifically, you will:
- Maintain a deep understanding of Hilton's global data center, WAN, hotel, and cloud connectivity and network security controls.
- Develop, update, and maintain network security standards.
- Define and improve processes that provide for the efficient review of network security design, architecture, and operational processes.
- Lead reviews to validate and improve the cybersecurity of network design and architecture.
- Develop and present on network cybersecurity activities, including management summaries and, as appropriate, diagrams, prepare documentation, and related collateral.
- Track network cybersecurity gaps and enhancement actions; integrates with Hilton GRC processes as applicable.
- Define objectives, technical requirements, and processes that support the ongoing validation of network cybersecurity posture (e.g., security policy management, secure configuration management).
- Lead and mentor junior staff.

- WAN/LAN routing protocols and infrastructure
- Datacenter network switch infrastructure
- Remote access/VPN technology
- Security appliance (firewall, NGFW, IPS) and policy management, including design, implementation, operational use, and validation of security policy (e.g., firewall rules) certification and remediation
- Experience developing and reviewing complex, high-availability, high-security network architectures, and security appliance implementations
- Understands and has reviewed/implemented integration of threat intelligence solutions into the commonly deployed network infrastructure
- Experience using vendor APIs to automate reporting and management tasks
- Experience in achieving objectives across matrixed teams with varying reporting lines
- Self-starters, who take initiative in implementing goals, utilizing analytical skills, and possessing adaptability to change
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field, computer networking, or Cyber Security preferred
- Technical networking or security certifications in, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto security technologies.
- Travel - 10-20% for business as needed
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree with six (6+) years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED with twelve (12+) years of Technology related experience
- Twelve (12) years of professional work experience in computer networking or Cyber Security
- Four (4) years of management experience supervising people or teams
- Prior experience with AWS network transit, security groups, and related controls
