Intern – MICE Sales - July 2017
We are looking to hire an intern to join our MICE Sales team in Paris from July 2017 for 6 months. If you are currently an undergraduate who is looking to gain experience within Corporate Hospitality Sales as part of your degree then this placement could be ideal!
As an Intern, you will support the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) Sales team with the development of agency business, responding to client requests and contributing to the organisation of client events

What will I be doing?
You will support the MICE Sales team with a range of activities which might include; handling requests, following up on client needs, organising sales calls & events, creating promotional material, calling prospective clients and various administrative tasks to support the overall smooth running of the MICE Sales function. You may be required to attend external workshops, presentations and client meetings from time to time which will enable you to fully understand the sales process as well as gaining insight to events.

What are we looking for?
This internship will start in July 2017. In order to be considered you must be enrolled in a university degree program as of this date and you must be able to produce a convention de stage. You will also need to speak, read and write both French and English fluently.
If you are not studying a hospitality degree then you will need to have some experience working in a hotel environment or must be able to demonstrate a strong desire to develop a career within the hotel industry. This is a heavily client facing role so the ideal candidate will have excellent telephone communication skills and will be both professional and outgoing in their approach to work. You will also need to have a reasonably good grasp of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint along with excellent time management skills.
