Position Summary:

Learn how to follow up groups’ requests on the MICE, Corporate and Leisure markets. Help to increase the office’s conversion ratio.

What will I be doing?

The training period lasts 6 months from July 2016.

 

• Computer Skills:

- Optimize Outlook knowledge

- Creation and updates of existing Power Point presentation

- Database update and use of Excel to create statistics

• Sales actions & tasks:

1°) The trainee will be in charge of handling small group requests, from the client brief to contract signature: qualification of the request / research of the appropriate solution / dealing with internal & external customers / Follow up with both clients and hotels.

2°) The trainee will go through the negotiation process: present Hilton solutions to customers / overcome obstacle / try to find win/win solutions for both clients & hotels.

3°) The trainee aim will be to build long lasting relationship with regular customers’ to increase their loyalty but also to evaluate new potential clients.

4°) Various administrative tasks are part of the trainee’s job to assist the general organisation and set-up of the office

 

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, well-organized, extremely detail-oriented and an assertive team player, willing to take ownership of responsibilities, and possess a high level of positive energy and drive.

 

• Excellent time management, organizational, coordination and communication (verbal and written) skills.

• Must be able to effectively communicate while employing diplomacy with high level executives within the organization on a global scale. Must be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with little supervision.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities. Completes assignments on time, or advises in advance of any delays.

• Computer Skills: Very high level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Very high level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Fluent in both English and French
