Calling all Night Owls! The soon to open DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge is seeking a Night Manager. This stunning new property is the first of its brand in Western Australia and the first new build DoubleTree in Australasia.

About the Role

Being present in the lobby during the night shift; be there to ensure every guest receives a warm welcome, -
Demonstrate what it means to be Simply Welcoming by assisting on the desk, and role modelling to the broader night team, -
Proactively resolving guest issues or complaints, and encouraging the team to feel empowered to do the same, -
Briefing all shift team members about incoming and outgoing guests, special requests, including early/late departures and room changes, -
Checking and maintaining guest preferences and profiles so that our return guests get a perfect stay with all of their individual and personalised requests looked after, or, alternatives arranged when this is not possible, -
Act on guest feedback given verbally or through social media channels to make recommendations and improve our guests’ experiences, -
Take care of our Hilton Honors guests, making sure that their benefits are delivered and thoroughly explained, -
Oversee all night audit, front desk accounting related duties and produce nightly reports, as required -
Take ownership of hotel security, complying with fire regulations and all health and safety legislation and instigating these processes as required, -
Handle any management issues or emergencies that arise, recording them as required, and implementing the necessary actions to bring them to resolution, and -
Be a team player - collaborate with other departments, particularly housekeeping, engineering and food and beverage to deliver a seamless guest experience, and -
Maintain awareness of all hotel areas.

Previous experience in an equivalent front office or guest relations managerial role, ideally within a hotel's front office environment, -
Experience with OnQ Property Management System is preferred, -
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays, -
Australian Working Rights, -
A track record of delivering results under pressure and to time constraints, and -
Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situation including emergencies.
