Senior Director, Revenue Management – GCM
Reporting to the Senior
Vice President & Commercial Director Hilton Greater China & Mongolia
(GCM), the Senior Director of Revenue Management will maximize total
revenue across owned, managed, franchised hotels across GCM region. The Senior
Director of Revenue Management will work with Sales, Marketing, Finance and
Operations counter-parts to complete the field team that supports and leads
these hotels. Additionally the role will ensure that across commercial
functions, a coordinated approach is taken to commercial planning and execution
through the Commercial Focus structures. The Senior Director must have strong
analytical skills and experience resolving day-to-day business challenges while
assessing competitive hotel chains and revenue management practices.
This role will
participate in property visits, corporate and ownership meetings, budget and
forecast reviews and training seminars as needed and will be an integral part
of the area operations & commercial team, as well as the GCM Commercial
Services Leadership team and the wider APAC Revenue Management team.
In
addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be
required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with
the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the
supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

Provide
training and conduct presentations to other hotel or corporate team members on
revenue management procedures, standards and principles, as needed.

Ensure
that all revenue management related systems are maintained, including RMS, CRS,
Delphi/DMPE/fdc, PMS, and HIDB. Employ the assistance of the
Director of Sales, Director of Front Office, Electronic Sales and Marketing
Manager as needed

Experience
working in global matrixed environments with the ability to leverage
other cross functional departments.

Partner
closely with Regional Sales leaders on cross functional initiatives to help
meet goals. Develop appropriate market commercial strategies that impact hotel
mix of sales to increase revenues and market share.

Serve
as the Revenue Management expert to regional and hotel leadership. Communicate
industry business trends to all properties and make recommendations to maximize
revenue opportunities at individual properties.

Provide
pre-opening and conversion support to ensure effective pricing and revenue
strategies are in place prior to hotel opening.

Leverage
current technologies with best practices to maximize total hotel revenue.
·
Participate
in hotel level recruitment and succession planning efforts
·
Lead
an ongoing review process to help property teams identify trends and
opportunities to maximize revenue for transient, group, and catering segments.
·
Build,
grow and deliver competitive pricing structures.
·
Conduct
Market Pricing Analysis to determine pricing and compression compared to
competitive markets.
·
Develop
appropriate owner relationships and serve as the discipline advocate. Ensures
the partnership with owners are considered when designing and implementing
Revenue Management initiatives and practices.

Ensure
hotel level forecast reflect current business volumes and trends and
anomalies or major variances are questioned and validated. Develop plans where
needed to overcome deficiencies.

Conduct
audits to ensure proper inventory management practices are in place to optimize
revenues in distribution, inventory, and yield management systems

Ensure
implementation of Revenue Management practices, tools, systems and training,
where appropriate

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Four (4) year college degree
· Experience at Director level position(s) dedicated to Revenue Management or Hotel Sales.
· Adaptable experience with travel industry reservation systems and hotel property management systems essential
· Experience using the following with a high level of skill: Opera / OnQ PMS, IDEAS RMS, Delphi, Smith Travel Reports, Travelclick BI tools
· Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience in regional role
· Advanced degree in business administration.
· Knowledge of database system development.
