Events Coordinator
As an Events Coordinator, you will act as the liaison between the customer and the operational areas of the Hotel to plan and execute catered events and therefore must be able to perform the following tasks with the highest standards:

Sell to all existing accounts as well as develop new accounts, establish strong rapport with all clients and provide excellent services. Generate food and beverage revenue for groups and meetings by responding to customer inquiries within 4 hours as per brand standards.
- Handles negotiations with meeting planners and generate Banquet Event Orders based on agreed contractual terms. Prepare and process all require paperwork to include BEOs and all other related correspondences with clients.
- Support daily distribution of BEOs, reader boards and change logs.
- Effective and efficient delivery of services for group convention/events/meeting and ensure full compliance with signed group agreement.
- Maintain excellent working relationship from initial lead call through to post event follow-up. Maintain contact with all support departments, including banquets and functions room departments, until event conclusion.
- Conduct field visit, property discovery visits to promote facilities and services. This includes entertainment activities with client.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by Supervisor/Director
- Represent the catering department in the Small and Large Meeting Planner Survey
- Assist the Catering and Convention Sales Manager and Event Services Manager as needed
